Why scenario planning?
The novel Covid-19 came in 2019 as a black swan for the world of business, politics, and social life of the world's citizens. Indonesia is no exception. Not anticipating an urgent change then becomes an evaluation of how we anticipate change. Linear planning, referring to a mere forecasting, is in fact not very effective in preparing many business sectors when facing the black swans. For that we need another approach to see the world in the longer term. Scenario planning (SP) is the answer to prepare various actors from various sectors for future changes.
